Why Us

Sellers Leisure started with one man and one park.

In 1983, Sam Sellers, who had a carpet business in London, bought his first park in Corringham, Essex. He had always wanted to build a family business in the industry. With his wife, Christine, by his side, he worked hard, year after year, to make that happen.

Over forty years on, that is exactly what it is. His sons, Sam, Billy and Mark, grew up watching their dad work to build a better life for the family. Today they run the business alongside him, with their partners and the wider family part of the story too.

Today, Sellers Leisure brings together six parks across Kent, Essex, East Sussex and Suffolk: Thriftwood, Horam Manor, Colchester, Polstead, Gatehouse Wood and Dymchurch. Each has its own character, from peaceful countryside and woodland settings to the Kent coast. Across the group we offer touring, camping, seasonal pitches, luxury lodge retreats and coastal holiday homes at Dymchurch.

Our staff are an important part of that story. From the people welcoming guests and helping owners to those looking after the grounds, facilities, bar and coffee shops, it takes a team to make a park feel welcoming and well cared for.

We have grown, but the family approach is still at the heart of Sellers Leisure: working together, treating people fairly and taking pride in our parks.

Whether you are planning your next break or looking for a luxury lodge retreat or coastal holiday home of your own, we look forward to welcoming you.
